- Who are you, and are you the buyer?
- We're Monsoon Capital, a local company here in the Tucson area. We're not a national brand or a franchise. We work on behalf of a group of independent local investors who buy houses directly from owners, so in most cases the buyer is one of those investors rather than our company itself. If you'd like to know who you'd actually be dealing with, just ask — we'll tell you.
- How did you get my information?
- Property ownership records are public, and we also work from publicly available property and contact information along with lists and referrals from local sources. We're not doing anything secretive with it — we reach out to homeowners in the area to see if selling is something they'd ever consider. If it isn't, that's a perfectly fine answer.
- Do I need to fix anything before selling?
- No. Properties are bought as-is, in whatever condition they're in. You don't need to make repairs, paint, update anything, or even clean the place out. If there are things left inside that you don't want, that's usually not a problem either.
- Will I get a fair price?
- The goal is always an offer that's fair and that we can explain to you. Any offer is based on the condition of the property, where it is, and what comparable homes in the area have actually sold for. We won't quote you a number before anyone has looked at the property, and we won't promise you something we can't back up. You're always free to compare the offer to other options before deciding.
- Do you charge fees or commissions?
- No. There are no agent commissions or listing fees the way there would be with a traditional sale. Nothing is charged to you for talking with us or for receiving an offer.
- Is there any obligation if I talk to you?
- None at all. A conversation is just a conversation, and receiving an offer doesn't commit you to anything. You can take your time, talk it over with your family, or simply say no. We don't use deadlines or pressure to push anyone into deciding quickly.
- How do I stop being contacted?
- Just let us know and we'll stop. If you received a text from us, you can reply STOP at any time. You can also call or email us directly at (520) 369-4767 or Deals@monsoonhomebuyers.com and ask to be removed, and we'll take care of it.
